What you should expect from a freshstart academy parenting time monitor?

RESPECT: A monitor treats each person in a caring manner, being mindful of individual differences and cultural as well as ethnic diversity. A monitor has a responsibility to understand that each parent has a relationship with his/her child and should acknowledge that relationship.



INTEGRITY: A monitor behaves in an honest and trustworthy manner. A monitor acts honestly and responsibly and
promotes ethical practices in his/her own work.



ETHICAL BEHAVIOR: A monitor remains aware of ethical principles, alert to ethical dilemmas and uses this awareness to guide this awareness to guide their practice of supervised parenting time. A monitor considers the implications of his/her actions and decisions on clients, colleagues, agencies, and on him/herself.



EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE: A monitor knows and follows the SVN Standards for Supervised Visitation Practice and the Code
of Ethics and does his/her best to implement best practices as they evolve.
